Our mission
We are a animal Rescue in Utah – Saving lives one at a time!
Hope’s Rescue is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to saving as many dogs or cats as we can from Utah’s shelters. We believe that companion animals are family and that they deserve our love and care. We also are one of the few rescues that has a hospice and special needs program. We are ran 100% by caring volunteers with 501c3 tax exempt status.
What We Do
•We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia at local animal shelters.
•We place rescued animals in foster homes—and work to get each adopted.
•We work to find each animal a permanent, loving home through adoption events and community outreach.
•We place hospice dogs or cats in loving furever hospice homes. We provide ALL medical needs for our hospice animals from placement up until they cross the rainbow bridge in loving arms.
•Our volunteer fosters, help with adoption events, and help manage fundraisers and educational presentations, and lots and lots of care and love to our animals.
•our dogs or cats are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and micro-chipped before adoption.
•We make a lifetime commitment to each pet we rescue
Our history
Jan 25, 2012 our rescue became a reality. Thank you to so many who have been with us on our journey. Our amazing fosters who continue to step up time and time again. Our faithful supporters who donate so we're able to save more. Shortly after forming our rescue we implemented our hospice program where we have saved and cared for hundreds of animals that needed us the most.
we decided that the little dog that was thrown into a fire pit and later passed away from her injuries, had made such a lasting impression on us and we wanted her legacy to live on. So to Hope's legacy and her impact she had on so many of us, we are thrilled to become "Hope's Rescue"
Hope rests in peace at BEST Friends, her legacy lives on.... rest easy little one... hopefully someday I'll hold you again.
Hope’s Rescue was founded with the belief that no animal should be denied the chance for a forever home solely for reasons of age or medical conditions. Hope’s Rescue is an all-volunteer nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to providing rescue, fostering, and adoption assistance to companion animals from Utah’s animal shelters. We focus on pets that are at risk of euthanasia for a variety of reasons, and provide them with a safe haven, loving foster care, and veterinary care until they are adopted into furrever homes.

Hope's Rescue is a non-profit accredited 501c organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily smaller dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with our committed volunteers, foster homes and local veterinarians, our goal is to rescue and help as many animals as possible every year. We will provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. Every animal that we rescue will be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccination
